The cliché statement ‘boys will be boys’ is often used to explain and excuse why boys do silly things. Personal coach, mentor and parent Rev would rather see this statement reflect a different sentiment.

Motov8 aims to inspire boys to choose to become high achieving young men, rather than just accepting what others say they will be.

Run by John “Rev” McMahon, a youth specialist with over 30 years experience working with young people in schools, sporting clubs and families. Rev has helped thousands of young people across Australia and New Zealand make smarter and more informed decisions.

Rev draws from his years of motorcycle riding experience to help them to navigate the twists, turns and obstacles that inevitably come up on the ride of life.

Topics

  • Understand the power of a positive attitude
  • How to develop confidence
  • How to change destructive behaviour
  • How to identify personal potential
  • Understand the importance of self-respect and respecting others

This event is for boys aged between 11 to 17.

We encourage both parents to attend with their boys. Rev’s communication style is hard hitting, relatable and impactful for everyone.

We also have a girls event called Savage Angels happening the following night.
