The Melbourne Cricket Club is excited to welcome you to the Members’ Reserve for the 2024 AFL Premiership Season Big Freeze at the ‘G match between Collingwood and Melbourne.

Visitor tickets for this match are exhausted. A very limited number of reserved seating remains on level 4 for Full and Restricted members only. Unreserved seating and standing for Full and Restricted members and pre-purchased general admission visitor ticket holders will be available on match day, subject to capacity

In 2024, Big Freeze celebrates its tenth consecutive year, an important milestone for FightMND. This year, Big Freeze is bringing back the walk, the infamous celebrity slide and all the excitement that’s part of the annual clash between Melbourne and Collingwood!

We encourage patrons to arrive early, and allow plenty of time for the entry process to ensure you are inside the MCG in time to witness the celebrity slide, beginning from 2pm.

  • Jolimont Street and Terrace will be closed from 12.00pm to 6.50pm.

Please note, flashing lights and pyrotechnics will be used throughout this match at the MCG.

The Australian Sports Museum is open for those attending the match from gate opening (listed above) until 15 minutes before the match start time.

Tickets for the Australian Sports Museum are half price and can be purchased on the day inside Gate 3 at the MCG. The Museum showcases the best of Australian sports including AFL, cricket and the Olympics.

Be sure to arrive early to make the most of your visit.

The MCC Library and MCC Museum are open to members and their guests on match days at the MCG.

The MCC Library is located on Level 3 of the Members’ Reserve, whilst the MCC Museum, is located on Level B1.

A Sensory Friendly Space is located within the Australian Sports Museum on Level 1 of the Olympic Stand (behind M51, inside Gate 3). This is a space for patrons of all ages who have sensory sensitivities, processing differences, or other hidden disabilities.

There are two rooms within the space offering patrons the ability to choose between quietly watching the event in a tiered theatre or using personal sensory strategies and fidget toys to relax in a multi-purpose room.
