• March 18: All Palace cinemas are closed until further notice.

• March 18: “Yep, Bunnings Snags Are Off the Cards Now Too”.

• March 17: Regional touring festival Groovin The Moo, scheduled for April 24 to May 9, has been called off.

• March 14: The remainder of Tim Minchin’s national tour is postponed. Ticket holders will be given further instructions on Monday March 16.

• March 13: “Mecca to Pause In-Store Make-Up Services”

• March 13: Frontier Touring and Chugg Entertainment, the companies organising Tame Impala’s national tour in April, are yet to issue a statement about whether the shows will still proceed. But they’ve announced that the Jimmy Eat World tour is cancelled, and the tours of Marc Rebillet, Kip Moore, Introducing Nashville, Miranda Lambert and Seaforth are postponed until further notice.

• March 13: Until further notice, supporters can no longer attend NAB AFLW matches, with the exception of tonight’s match, North Melbourne versus Geelong.

• March 13: “Australian Government Advises Against Gatherings of More Than 500 People From Monday”

Australian Capital Territory

• March 13: Wine Machine Canberra is postponed until October 24. All existing tickets will be honoured for the new date.

New South Wales

• March 23: Biennale of Sydney’s public exhibitions closed, with the event adapted to a “digital experience”.

• March 23: AGNSW is closed.

• March 18: Sydney Film Festival is cancelled.

• March 17: Happy Place is suspended indefinitely. Ticket holders should keep their tickets pending rescheduled dates.

• March 17: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, originally scheduled for May, is now cancelled.

• March 16: All public events at Sydney Opera House are cancelled until March 29 inclusive.

• March 16: Splendour in the Grass has been rescheduled to October 23, 24 and 25. All existing tickets are transferrable or eligible for a refund.

• March 16: Sydney Writers Festival is cancelled.

• March 16: All public Anzac Day commemorations in NSW are cancelled.

• March 16: The School of Life has cancelled all events between March 16 and April 30.

• March 15: Byron Bay festival Bluesfest is cancelled. Ticket holders will receive further instructions soon.

• March 15: Opera Australia has cancelled performances of Carmen, Attila and Great Opera Hits until March 28.

• March 15: Vivid Sydney is cancelled.

• March 15: Ocean Lovers Festival at Bondi Beach is cancelled.

• March 14: The Other Art Fair is postponed until further notice. “All tickets will be transferable and valid for future fairs, or refundable via Eventbrite should that be requested.”

• March 13: Randwick City Council has cancelled The Spot festival.

• March 13: Bairro Português is postponed until further notice.

• March 13: Comedy Steps Up for Bushfire Relief at the Sydney Opera House is cancelled. All ticket holders will receive a full refund.

• March 13: Art Month events on March 13 and 14 will go ahead as planned. The viability of events beyond these dates is still being reviewed.

• March 13: The Sydney Royal Easter Show is cancelled.

• March 13: Wine Machine, in the Hunter Valley, will go ahead as planned on March 14.

• March 13: No Coal Zone featuring Jamie xx, The Avalanches and Midnight Juggernauts has been postponed. Ticket holders should retain their tickets until a new date is announced.

• March 13: The Festival of Dangerous Ideas has also suspended ticket sales.

• March 13: “Sydney Cafes Are Banning Reusable Cups in Reaction to Coronavirus”

• March 13: Download Festival and Parramasala are both called off.

•March 12: Momo Fest is postponed indefinitely.

Queensland

• March 23: QAGOMA is now closed until further notice.

• March 16: “Brisbane Cafes Are Banning Reusable Cups in Reaction to Coronavirus”.

• March 16: All public events and tours at GOMA are suspended indefinitely. Until further notice, the gallery remains open to regular visitors from 10am to 5pm daily, with cinema screenings as scheduled.

• March 16: The final week of Brisbane Comedy Festival is cancelled. Those who purchased tickets online will receive an automatic refund. Those who purchased through the box office will be contacted directly to arrange a refund.

•March 13: Queensland Ballet has cancelled its 60th Anniversary Gala performances from March 20 to 28. Other performances are being reviewed.

•March 13: James Street Up Late is cancelled

•March 13: World Science Festival in Brisbane, Gladstone, Toowoomba and Townsville is cancelled.

•March 13: CMC Rocks is postponed indefinitely. Ticketholders are advised to keep their tickets until a new date can be arranged.

•March 13: Fish Lane Festival has been rescheduled to September 5.

•March 13: This season of Westpac Openair Cinema is postponed until further notice.

•March 12: Momo Fest is postponed indefinitely.

•March 12: Panayiri Greek Festival is cancelled.

South Australia

•March 25: The Adelaide Cabaret Festival has been cancelled this year

• March 16: East End Wine Down is postponed until the end of the year.

•March 13: Feast on the Foreshore, at Semaphore, is cancelled.

•March 13: Port Fringe Street Party, scheduled for March 14, is cancelled.

•March 13: Tasting Australia is postponed until October or November.

•March 15: Share dinner at Africola is postponed until further notice

•March 15: Uraidla Sustainability Fair is postponed until further notice

Tasmania

•March 17: Mona is closed for “for the foreseeable future”.

•March 11: Dark Mofo 2020 is cancelled.

Victoria

•March 11: Classic Cinemas announce temporary closure.

• March 18: Lyon Housemuseum Gallery in Kew remains open for business, but all public events and programs are cancelled.

• March 17: All upcoming shows at The Curtin Hotel are cancelled.

• March 17: The Vintage Clothing Sale at Como House is postponed indefinitely.

• March 17: Meadow music festival is cancelled.

• March 17: Linden New Art in St Kilda is closed until further notice.

• March 16: The City of Melbourne has closed its libraries, events spaces and recreational facilities until at least March 31, including City Library in Flinders Lane, Kathleen Syme in Carlton, Library at The Dock in Docklands, East Melbourne Library, North Melbourne Library, Southbank Library at Boyd, Melbourne City Baths, Kensington Recreation Centre, Carlton Baths, North Melbourne Recreation Centre, Meat Market, Signal, ArtPlay and Arts House.

• March 16: The Wheeler Centre has cancelled all events until May 7.

• March 16: Good Beer Week is postponed until further notice.

• March 16: Heide Museum of Modern Art is closed until April 13.

• March 16: The Malthouse Theatre is closed until April 12.

• March 16: High Country Hops Festival, at Bridge Road Brewers in Beechworth, is cancelled.

• March 16: All remaining shows at Brunswick Music Festival are cancelled.

• March 16: Melbourne Symphony Orchestra performances between March 16 and April 13 inclusive are cancelled. The MSO will instead be livestreaming selected performances on its Youtube channel.

• March 16: Melbourne Theatre Company has cancelled all remaining performances of Torch the Place and Emerald City.

• March 16: The School of Life has cancelled all events between March 16 and April 30.

• March 16: Ceres Harvest Festival is postponed indefinitely.

• March 16: All performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child have been suspended until April 13.

• March 16: Wall to Wall Festival, in Benalla, is postponed until further notice.

• March 15: The NGV will close from March 16 to April 13.

• March 15: The State Library, Museums Victoria (including Melbourne Museum, the Immigration Museum, IMAX Melbourne, Scienceworks and the Royal Exhibition Buildings) and the Melbourne Recital Centre are closed until further notice.

• March 15: Arts Centre Melbourne has cancelled all scheduled performances and events, and temporarily closed its buildings, beginning midnight. The closures include the State Theatre, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl among others.

• March 15: Melbourne Queer Film Festival has suspended all remaining sessions on the program, starting from Monday March 16. Ticket holders should retain tickets and wait for further instructions from the festival.

• March 14: Tarrawarra Museum of Art has cancelled its Open Weekend.

• March 14: Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is cancelled.

• March 14: The Other Art Fair is postponed until further notice. “All tickets will be transferable and valid for future fairs, or refundable via Eventbrite should that be requested.”

• March 13: Melbourne Food & Wine Festival is postponed until a later date in 2020.

• March 13: All Arts Centre performances between March 13 and 15 will go ahead as planned, including New Order at Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

• March 13: Melbourne International Comedy Festival is cancelled.

• March 13: All remaining events at Virgin Australia Fashion Festival are cancelled. Affected ticketholders will be contacted directly by the festival.

• March 13: Camberwell Market is closed until further notice.

• March 13: Dylan Alcott’s Ability Fest, at Coburg Velodrome, is called off. Ticketholders should contact Moshtix for a refund.

• March 13: Meatstock Melbourne has been postponed until August 15 and 16. All existing tickets are transferrable for the new dates.

• March 13: Tesselaar KaBloom Festival of Flowers in the Dandenongs is cancelled.

• March 13: Wine Machine, in the Yarra Valley, is postponed until October 31. All existing tickets will be honoured for the new date.

• March 13: Ocean arts festival at Hotel Esplanade (March 22–29) is postponed. More details to follow.

• March 13: Clunes Booktown, which was to be held in May, is cancelled.

• March 13: The inaugural edition of the Carwyn Collaborational beer festival is postponed until October 24.

• March 13: The 2020 Australian Grand Prix is cancelled.

• March 13: Daniel Andrews Announces “No Spectators” at Australian Grand Prix This Weekend

• March 13: Melbourne International Coffee expo is postponed and will now be held in November.

Western Australia
