Calling all live music lovers! Prepare to have an unforgettable month as the Summer Sundays free concert series returns to the stunning Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
Exciting Line-Up for January
The first of four events will kick off this Sunday, 7 January, featuring an incredible line-up of talented artists. Yacht Rock Revival, Chitra, The Pearlies, and Roy Darby will take the stage from 4pm to 8pm, serving up some seriously good vibes.
Food, Drinks, and More!
But that’s not all! Indulge in a delightful selection of the finest food and beverage vendors from Ballarat and beyond. And for those 18 years and older looking to quench their summer thirst, the pop-up Garden Bar will be the place to be, serving refreshing local wine, craft beer, and cider.
A Highlight to Kick Start the Year
City of Ballarat Mayor, Cr Des Hudson, expressed his excitement for Summer Sundays, stating that it is always a highlight to kick start a big year of events in Ballarat. He encourages residents to bring their favorite rug and picnic basket, as this event aims to create a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon of entertainment.
Amazing Line-Up
The headliner for week one is Yacht Rock Revival, a band that captures the essence of iconic 70s and 80s sounds. Week two will feature The Pigs, Chikchika, Confetti Western, and Rhiannon Simpson on-stage, followed by a Fireworks Spectacular (weather permitting). Week three’s line-up includes Amaru Tribe, Squid Nebula, Crank Williams and Patsy Decline, and Jeremy Beggs. The final event on 28 January will showcase One Spirit Africa, Ezra Lee, The Darlings Family Trust, and Ballarat Grammar Music Program Presents: Surfe & Room 51 Band.
