Key insights from ZEISS cataract roadshow event in Brisbane

The ZEISS Premiere of Cataract Innovation, part of a series of roadshows – held in 2023 in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney – has now arrived in Brisbane.

On Thursday 14 March 2024, a panel of experts gathered in the Queensland capital as the latest leg of the ZEISS Cataract Roadshow landed in the state. Following the success of similar events in other major cities last year, this event saw Dr Judy Ku, Associate Professor Kris Rallah-Baker, and Associate Professor Smita Agarwal discuss their experiences with the ZEISS Cataract Workflow, highlighting its ability to enhance efficiency without compromising quality.

During the event, the faculty engaged in discussion with the attendees exploring how ZEISS’s surgical planning tool EQ Workplace coupled with the QUATERA 700 phacoemulsification system and CT LUCIA (ZEISS’s first C-loop haptic, hydrophic monofocal IOL) can contribute to a smoother workflow from clinic to theatre.

“The mix of presentations and panel discussions provided attendees with valuable insights into how these innovations are playing a role in shaping the future of cataract surgery and patient care,” ZEISS said.
