About the Workshop

In this workshop, we will explore the importance of social media for your creative business and discuss different platforms worth your time. You will learn how to build your brand and present yourself effectively, identify your target market, and understand the significance of hashtags. Our workshop presenter, Mark Shenton, CEO of Albany Business Centre, has extensive experience in growing businesses through various markets and economic pressures. He specializes in increasing business through different mediums and strategies and has worked with artists across the region to help them manage their business and marketing requirements.

As part of the workshop, attendees will also have the opportunity to schedule a FREE 1-to-1 session with Albany Business Centre staff for personalized advice tailored to their individual needs.

The Business Side of Arts

The Business Side of Arts is a series of professional development workshops designed to support local artists and creatives in their journey towards success. These workshops cover essential business, marketing, and practical skills required for arts practitioners. The workshops are delivered by Albany Business Centre, local specialist arts practitioners, and City of Albany Arts & Culture team staff.
