MCC Kids Summer of Cricket
The Big Bash is back at the ‘G, and this time it’s all about the kids! Tower 6 will be transformed into a hub of excitement and entertainment for our young cricket fans.
There will be plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, from face painting to giveaways and roaming entertainment. Here’s what you can expect at Tower 6:

- Free ice cream and chocolate
- Special kids’ pizzas from $10

Tickets
Tickets for the 2023/24 summer of cricket, including reserved seats and visitor tickets, will be available starting from 10.00am on Wednesday, October 11. You can purchase your tickets through Ticketek. Don’t miss out on securing your spot!

This match is classified as a Category 3 match. Visitors to the Members’ Reserve can access seating on Levels 1, 2, and 3. Please note that Level 4 will be closed for this match.

Parking in Yarra Park is available for this match, but please note that the precinct may be busy due to the Australian Open. We recommend arriving early to secure your spot. For more information about parking, including disability permit holder parking, click here.
During the match, there will be some road closures and disruptions. Please be aware of the following:
- Brunton Avenue will be closed between 6.00pm – 7.15pm, and 10.10pm – 11.10pm
Additionally, there may be major road and rail disruptions on the day of the match. Please plan your journey accordingly:
Metro:
Buses will replace trains on the Mernda line between Reservoir and Epping Stations.
Roads:
- West Gate Freeway to M80 Ring Road: Westbound ramp closed Greensborough bound
- West Gate Freeway: Lane closed in both directions between Millers Road and the M80 interchange
- Wurundjeri Way: Road closed between Dudley Street and Bourke Street
- Footscray Road: Lanes closed in both directions between Dock Link Road and Waterfront Way
- Healesville Koo Wee Rup Road: Closed between the Princes Freeway and Southeast Boulevard
- Hall Road, Evans Road, and Cranbourne Frankston Road: Intersection closed
At the ‘G
- Make sure to enter through the gate listed on your ticket.
- The MCG is a cashless venue, so please be prepared to make all transactions using your debit or credit card. Cash will not be accepted at food, beverage, merchandise, and ticketing outlets.
- Smoking, e-cigarettes, and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the Ground. Anyone found smoking or vaping will be immediately evicted.
- Your safety is our priority. If you witness any form of antisocial behavior, please report it by texting ‘Assist’ to the MCG’s antisocial text hotline at +61 409 117 621.
