This gathering of appreciators of the arts, including major collectors, sponsors and supporters, aimed to raise funds for the inaugural Perth Art Weekend, which will run August 9-11.
The weekend is being organised by Perth Art Foundation, created in 2022 and chaired by Kamile Galleries’ Kamile Burinskaite, with members including artist Caroline Christie-Coxon, architect David Hillam, concert pianist Mark Coughlan and OFFMARKET’s Olivier David, among others.
The evening at Lawson Flats included a performance by another founding member, WA Ballet soloist Juan Carlos Osma, as the group raised awareness for the three-day event in August, which will include exhibitions, guided tours, performances, art walks, panel discussions and VIP events.
