Over 100,000 Australians have lost their lives in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations since 25 April 1915, Anzac Day, the day Australian and New Zealand soldiers landed on Gallipoli in 1915 as part of the Allies’ invasion.

Around Australia, people will come together tomorrow to pay their respects and remember those who have served, and continue to serve, the nation during times of conflict.
