Miss Saigon | From 2 January
Miss Saigon is headed to Adelaide for a blockbuster summer season. Featuring an extraordinary cast of talented performers from across the Asia-Pacific region, Miss Saigon will play at the Festival Theatre from January 2 for a strictly limited season.
Winner of 70 major theatre awards including two Olivier Awards, three Tony Awards and four Drama Desk Awards, Miss Saigon has been described as one of the greatest musicals of all time. From the creators of Les Misérables, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, Miss Saigon has been seen by 38 million people and performed in 15 different languages, in over 32 countries and 350 cities.

Heaps Good Festival | 6 January
Heaps Good is an 18+ single day summer festival headed to the Adelaide Showgrounds. You won’t want to miss Declan McKenna, denim, Kettama and many more playing on stage this January.
There will be multiple bars and plenty of food and snack on offer to make it a full fun day out with friends and loved ones.

Wildlands Festival | 7 January
The countdown is on, and excitement is mounting as the hotly anticipated Wildlands Festival which will be held in Ellis Park on January 7th. There’s a hot list of performers, with a list of Grammy winners and international superstars taking to the stage. RÜFÜS DU SOL is headlining the event, and will be joined by Central Cee, a UK-based rapper who brings a mix of gritty lyrics and catchy beats.

Adelaide International 2024 | 8 – 13 January
Get up close to the action this summer as some of the world’s best players head to Adelaide from 8 to 13 January.
World class tennis action at The Drive will feature more than 170 top tennis players set to compete to become champion.
And it’s not just tennis – with live music, entertainment, bars, food trucks and premium experiences at The Drive’s new facilities, the Adelaide International is the perfect way to kick start 2024 in the beautiful heart of the riverbank precinct.

Santos Tour Down Under 2024 | 12 – 21 January
The Santos Tour Down Under is the first event of the UCI WorldTour and starts the international pro cycling calendar in the heart of Australia’s summer.
There’s so much to do in Adelaide to celebrate including heading to the official City of Adelaide Tour Village which will feature panel discussions with riders and experts, the race live streamed on the big screen, and a space for fans to cool off in the new ‘recovery zone’, featuring ice baths, physio and localised cryotherapy. There will also be street parties, regional events, family-friendly events and more.

Semaphore Greek Festival | 13 – 14 January
The Semaphore Greek Festival is gearing up for its 43rd annual celebration, which will be a weekend filled with Greek culture that brings all the flavours, sounds, and sights of Greece to the shores of Port Adelaide.
As one of Australia’s premier Greek cultural festivals, this event has grown to become one of the largest of its kind in the country. The festivities will unfold on the Semaphore foreshore, with Semaphore rides and Semaphore Road cafes just a leisurely stroll away, and with free admission, the Semaphore Greek Festival invites you to gather all your friends and family for a fun weekend out.

Glenelg Sunset Markets | 14 January
With over 100 stalls, live music and food trucks, the event runs throughout the afternoon and into the evening on select Sundays from November to March, bringing with it the perfect excuse to get outside, soak up the sunshine and bag yourself a bargain or special market buy.

McLaren Vale, the picturesque coastal wine region known for its lush vineyards cascading toward the breathtaking Gulf of St Vincent coast, is hosting the highly anticipated SummerVines 2024 food and wine festival.
SummerVines, proudly supported by the South Australian Tourism Commission, is set to captivate visitors with a ten-day program of exciting wine and food experiences set against the stunning backdrop of this coastal paradise.

Sounds by the River | 20 January
Sounds by the River is back in 2024 with a phenomenal line-up bringing together some of the most iconic names in Australian music to South Australia.
Celebrating its 14th year, the show will The Living End, Birds of Tokyo, Pete Murray, Kasey Chambers & Mahalia Barnes and the Soulmates at its traditional home of Mary Ann Reserve, on the banks of the River Murray. The show was headlined by Jimmy Barnes, but following health concerns there’s been no update on his appearance.

Vintage Vibes Festival | 27 – 28 January
The Vintage Vibes Festival 2024 is gearing up to be an extraordinary event, with the latest addition of Brisbane’s indie rock sensation, Ball Park Music, to its already stellar lineup.
