Event Details:

  • Date: June 5th to June 15th, 2024
  • Location: ZONE BOWLING Tuggeranong, Australian Capital Territory

In collaboration with Australian Disabilities Tenpin Incorporated (ADTI) and Tenpin Bowling Australia (TBA), we are proud to organise this championship, which has consistently drawn strong attendance throughout its history. The 2024 National Championship promises to be one of the largest sporting events for individuals with disabilities in Australia.

The National Disability Championship is an inclusive competition that caters to bowlers of all skill levels, from beginners to elite athletes. Over the course of the ten days of play, participants will have the opportunity to compete in various formats, including singles, doubles, and team events. Additionally, those seeking a comprehensive challenge can enter the all-events category by participating in each of these formats.

A highlight of the championship is the State Team Challenges, featuring the Michael Cooke Memorial Shield and the Cole Cup, scheduled for Wednesday, June 12th. These events foster camaraderie and competition among the states and territories.

Top-performing bowlers from the championship squads will vie for a spot in one of three prestigious master events: the Open, Classic, and Restricted Masters. The champions in each category will be crowned on the final day of competition, which is set for Friday, June 14th.

For the second consecutive year, two events in the championship will be included in the TBA Inclusion Rankings for 2024. These ranked events encompass:

  • National Disability Championship Classic and Open All-Events
  • National Disability Championship Classic and Open Masters

To participate in the championship, all bowlers must be registered with TBA and have the option to represent their state, region, league, club, or register individually. For those aspiring to be part of the rankings, we kindly remind you to ensure your full silver registered membership with Tenpin Bowling Australia is current.
