Fresh off the back of supporting The Cat Empire on their European and Australian runs earlier this year, Steph Strings will join as main support for Miami Marketta. Broadwater Parklands will be transformed this Saturday night, with a gourmet street eats market popping up for one night only. Food trucks, boutique retail stalls and music will be the stars of the show, and with just a $2 entry fee you’ll still have plenty of cash left over to buy a feed. Get Ready For The World Tinnie Hurling Championships At Balter

In classic Balter style, to celebrate their 8th birthday, Balter Brewing will be holding the World Tinnie Hurling Championships this Saturday night at their Currumbin HQ. You know you want to be there. Touted as ‘beer’s greatest sport’ the championships will be a mix of newbie challengers and tinnie hurling champs. There will be $60k in cash and prizes up for grabs, so you already know it’s going to be seriously competitive.
Watch A Family-Friendly Flick Under The Stars
Round up the family for the latest edition of the Movies Under The Stars program, a free family-friendly movie program running from September through to April across the Gold Coast. Hosted on The Great Lawn at Broadwater Parklands, arrive from 6pm ith your picnic blanket and snacks in tow. The movie showing will be ‘The Air Up There’ and best of all, no tickets or registration required.
Round Up Your Crew For A Daft Punk Tribute Show
Get set for a night of Daft Punk at the Burleigh Pavilion this Saturday night. Groove to the electro house hits of the iconic duo as Discovery take over the DJ decks from 9:30pm on Saturday. Expect the incredibly iconic tracks from Daft Punk’s collection, as well as remixes and mash-ups from the Daft Punk Tribute, Discovery.
Load The Car Up For The Drive In Movies

Head to the Yatala Drive In Theatre this Saturday for a screening of one of the most notorious cult-movie experiences, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. See The Rocky Horror Picture Show the way it was meant to be seen—on the big screen, in the dark, and with a raucous audience who are just as into it as you are. Currumbin’s iconic beachside SWELL Sculpture Festival is hosting a new multi-disciplinary national art exhibition in Broadbeach, with an impressive line-up of artists presenting vibrant new works.The Swell Smalls Art Prize exhibition of over 50 sculptures, ceramics, paintings and more by talented artists, will be held from this Saturday to 17 March in the Broadbeach Community Space.
Emerging out of the overwhelming popularity of the annual SWELL Smalls Gallery that runs alongside the annual SWELL Sculpture Festival, you can take home an original work or simply immerse yourself amid the vibrant works. Get Upside Down At The Famous Inverted House Experience

Australia’s only inverted house photo experience, House Down Under is turning the Gold Coast upside down this summer. This family-friendly funhouse’s first Queensland location is located at Pacific Fair, where you’ll find a dizzying array of installations and activities, all of which are completely flipped.
Stepping inside the topsy-turvy house, you’ll feel on top of the world, walking on the ceilings, visiting a bathroom with an upside down toilet and exploring every room of the entirely inverted house. Dig In At Australia’s First Mini Excavator Park

Tell the kids they’re going on a road trip, because DIG IT on Tamborine Mountain is one for the digger enthusiasts who are ready to graduate from the sandpit and into a driver’s seat. This outdoor construction zone DIG IT at Thunderbird Park features real CAT mini excavators—we can hear dirt-covered children all over the Gold Coast screaming in excitement.
