GIVIT donation of the week: Grocery vouchers

GIVIT is working with a community organisation in the ACT that provides support and counselling services for men and their families. They are currently requesting grocery vouchers for a single father and his daughter. This young father is diabetic and has experienced mental illness and insecure housing. He has been learning to manage his health and his primary focus is his eight-year-old daughter, however, he is struggling financially. He is working but would appreciate some assistance with food expenses. Your donation will be a huge help to this family’s daily needs. Generous Canberrans can fund this request with 100% of the funds received by GIVIT used to purchase grocery vouchers. To fund this request, visit: GIVIT.org.au/what’s-needed, search Category: ‘grocery voucher’; Location: ‘ACT’.
