Lion Arts Adds Vintage Vibes to Its Lineup

UK Band Rudimental to Perform at Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide

After the unfortunate postponement of Vintage Vibes, a new event company called Movement has stepped in to bring one of the festival’s international headliners to Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide. On Friday, January 26, UK electronic band Rudimental will take the stage at the heritage-listed venue, providing an exciting night of music for Adelaide’s fun-loving crowd.

Vintage Vibes was postponed due to various economic pressures, including the high cost of moving infrastructure and the challenges faced by venues outside of the CBD. Additionally, average ticket sales contributed to what organizers described as a “perfect storm of events.” However, thanks to Movement and their collaboration with Untitled Group, Rudimental will still have the opportunity to perform in Adelaide.

Rudimental gained popularity in the 2010s with their radio-friendly electronic music, collaborating with artists like Ed Sheeran and Macklemore. Their new material continues to showcase their signature drum ‘n’ bass sound that first brought them success in 2012.

Movement, the newest event company in Adelaide, is dedicated to bringing international artists to the city and ensuring that local audiences don’t miss out on exciting performances. Jared Armour, the managing director of Movement, expressed his enthusiasm for hosting such a big international act in Adelaide and emphasized the importance of maintaining an intimate atmosphere at Lion Arts Factory.

The event will also provide a platform for local DJs and producers to showcase their talent, with plenty of local support on the roster. It’s a great opportunity for up-and-coming artists to shine before Rudimental takes the stage.

Tickets for Rudimental’s performance at Lion Arts Factory are already selling fast, with first and second-release tickets already sold out. The show will start at 9pm on Friday, January 26. Don’t miss out on this incredible night of music and support the local talent before the international act takes over.

As for Vintage Vibes, a new date has yet to be announced. However, it has been revealed that the festival will be held at Tomich Wines this year as a summer event. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting festival.
