Renowned chef Dan Hong and actor Remy Hii have joined forces to transform Merivale’s CBD institution Est. into a bustling mahjong club on Saturday, February 17.
A Unique Dining Experience
The limited-time venue, located on level one of Establishment, will offer seatings from 1.30–9pm. Guests can enjoy fast-paced games of mahjong while indulging in a delectable snack flight curated by Dan Hong. The menu will feature mouthwatering dishes such as king crab and scallop dumplings, rock lobster bao, and a luxurious prawn toast made with otoro tuna belly and finger lime. Other highlights include wagyu skewers, chilled truffled noodles with caviar, and warm Hong Kong-style egg tarts.
Accompanying the delectable food is a selection of bespoke cocktails created by mixologist Jonathan Liu. The Hi-Prosperity combines ginger, yuzu, and chrysanthemum, while the Blue Wishes offers a delightful blend of apple, rose honey, and champagne. For a unique twist, try the Peace and Peaches cocktail, which pairs Johnnie Walker Blue Label with clarified coconut milk, peach, and pandan.

There are three experience packages available for guests: advanced mahjong players, mahjong newcomers, and spectators. Each package includes a four-dish meal and a cocktail.
