Luton Town vs West Ham prediction, odds, betting tips and best bets for 2023/24 Premier League clash

Despite looking like they’d head into the 2023/24 Premier League season weaker after the departure of former captain Declan Rice, West Ham have responded well to bring a plethora of talent since.

Mohammed Kudus is the latest star acquisition, joining from Dutch side Ajax for a fee in the region of £38million which significantly bolsters the club’s attacking midfield.

The Ghanaian international’s first task will be to help David Moyes’ side get past Luton on Friday night and after the visitors beat Brighton last time out, their spirits will be high.

Many sides won’t fancy the trip to Kenilworth Road this campaign though, and that’s something that Luton will no doubt play on with the stadium a likely hostile place to go. As such, West Ham will have to be at their best to avoid a potential upset.

Luton vs West Ham best bet

  • Pick: Both teams to score – YES
  • Odds: -120 (BetMGM)

Although West Ham have taken an impressive seven points from a possible nine on offer so far this campaign, they still look likely to concede each time they take to the field.

In all three of their matches the Hammers have failed to keep a clean sheet this season and that’s something we’re backing to happen again on Friday night.

In truth, Luton looked threatening in their last Premier League outing away at Chelsea and with the Kenilworth Road faithful behind them here, we’re expecting them to find the back of the net at least once.

As for David Moyes’ side, they’ve netted seven times so far and have put three past both Chelsea and Brighton which makes them dangerous again here.

Luton vs West Ham flier bet

After his stunning finish away to Brighton at the weekend, we’re picking Hammers winger Jarrod Bowen to be in the goals again on Friday night vs. Luton.

The quick wide player has already netted in both of his away Premier League outings this season, and given the fact that his last three strikes have all come away from home, he could enjoy his time under the Kenilworth Road floodlights in this clash.

If you want extra value, add West Ham to win onto this bet, especially as Bowen’s only previous meeting with Luton saw his former Hull City side comfortably win 3-0.
